Session 1: Beginning the Tale Report

General Summary

Introduction to Little Town.   The Month of Lun 13th, 997 AC.   David Wells came into town, gave items about to the residents. Tof got a buttload of butterscotch, Beth got a broken fiddle in a case (since fixed by Perrin), Perrin got owl feed in a box, and Marin got some rocks, crystals, and geodes as a birthday present.   David Wells sent the group on a mission to escort a mother, Maryann, and David's cousin, Dono, through the mountain range into Rickter town (takes 2 days to get there, 2 to get back).   Perrin and Beth set things set with Mary for them to be out of town for a few days.   Tof notes interest in finding Desiree Faunla for the monetary reward.    

Ellion gave Tof a coin in return for her drinking a potion with no context.

Beth helps Tony carry a cabinet to a cart for a gold coin, Perrin assisted with translating Goblin (Perrin agrees to teach Beth Goblin).

Perrin assisted Tom at the hospital with getting some words in Goblin translated to better help patients.

Marin notified her people they were going to be out. It was a quiet night.

    Tof speaks with the Mayor on her lunch break, agrees to have a drink at 8pm.   Tof gets a pocket sewed into the interior of his shirt (cost 1 gold and a pick up of muffins).   Perrin sees 3 adventurers at the tavern, 2 of them go home with him and they drink his booze before leaving dramatically and kicking over a stool.   At night everyone goes to the bar, Tof has a drink with the Mayor, he buys her a fine bottle of wine (10g). Finds out she was born and raised in Little Town, she doesn't note anything of interest in Little Town (started in 912), and that Mary Woo has no callers. Additionally, Tof ruffled Brian's feathers by asking about Poppy's love life.   Beth and Perrin made some coin while playing music (1 gold, 3 copper, 5 silver).   Meet with Dono and the mother (dragonborn cursed by Ahovz for marrying a follower of the Water demon).   Go through the mountain range, find a sentient shrub left by goblins. He wants to fight everyone, and 'beat' Perrin and hurt Tof. Beth convinced him to consider her his master.   A saber tooth tiger appeared and was defeated with Tof giving the kill shot (each got 112 exp, Tof got 115).   Return to Little Town, David gives each person 10 gold. David then leaves town.   To be continued.
