Session 24: The Coastal Markets of Drasta Report
General Summary
Date: The Month of Stability 24th, 997 AC (Tuesday). Finally at Drasta the sea travelers have parted ways and the party is free to explore the Coastal Markets during the day. Off the boat, the party realizes the heat of the day. Each day has grown hotter on their journey and the masses of people do not help. Tof peruses the wares of the market and purchases a gold pot showing the creation of humanity. He also purchases a tiny hat for his mouse friend Tippy. He then goes to a candy booth and buys some Mocci sap he lovingly remembered eating as a younger man in Vibrum. He continues looking around and sees some fellows playing baseball - a loved pastime in Drasta. Perrin shops along with Marcus and Johnny. They go over to a both run by one of Johnny's friends; Marvin. They buy some odds and ends and Johnny gets a map of Drasta. Perrin also followed around a suspicious looking individual and picked up a packet of drugs out of a box of calling cards. Marin purchases a starwheel and some bullets from a rather unpleasant dwarven man. Some fighting ensues, a thieving child tries to rob Marin, and then Ellion whisks her away for a task they have. Ellion takes her to a large tent full of flowers and crystals from the Reverbitide island. She causes a distraction while Ellion steals some items inside. Beth heads towards the clothing district and purchases a dress. She gets involved with Marin's fighting, and plays dead in a dwarven woman disguise.
