Session 28: Party Time Report

General Summary

Date: ??? Time works differently on the island.    The day after the Immortal announced his retirement, the meeting place was decorated for a party.    The party enjoys music and food and socializes.    Dolius talks with Tof about delegate issues, making note of how those without faith do not get a voice.    Marin starts to watch Mat/Alyss and suspects that Mat is in control. The two fight and it is revealed Mat is in control, but nothing is resolved.    The party begins to dance. Marcus and Marin as a pair and Ellion and Beth as a pair. Jilly steps in to dance with Beth and discusses how Water wished them to work closely together.    The party is disrupted with Darius arrived, a trail of fire behind his wrathful entrance. The red dragon born yells at the group as he had been made to believe, by Mat, that the delegates intended to leave Erif out of the contract negotiations. He demands the proceedings start immediately.    Desiree pours a drink on Darius's head and tells him to calm down. She drags him towards the tents.    The Air Immortal ends the party and states the proceedings will start in the morning. He instructs the delegates to sit in the chairs in their tents for final preparations.    In the evening Tof speaks with Marcus and Marin about the Messenger, stating her flawed ideologies. They join with Beth and go speak to to the Messenger. The others hide as the Messenger and Beth speak on the beach. They discuss the sorcerer condition, the Messenger referring to them as demons and creatures without souls. Beth reveals herself as a sorcerer and the Messenger grows more confused. Beth invites her to dinner.   At dinner Mat and Beth talk with the Messenger, and give her the name Zoe. They talk about getting Zoe resources from Lun's library to help educate her. Zoe asks Beth to ask Lun a question for her. She asks, "Am I wrong?"   To be continued.
