Season 2 Session 1: Welcome to Little Town Report

General Summary

Date: 2nd Day of the Month of Ahovz, 997 A.C. (Monday)   David Wells returns to snowy Little Town; he brings back goods with him and distributes them to the town folk.  

Teth receives some honey comb and vials of pure honey.

Pip receives a jewelers kit.

Arizona receives a sending stone with the symbol of a cowboy hat on it. It is a direct line to David.

  David tells the three of them that he has a job for them.   (2) He tasks them to take a care package into the mountain range to a hermit. The hermit lives about a halfday into the path and can be found by a flag sticking out from above.   David offers 15 gold to both Teth and Arizona, and arranges to get Pip a ruby worth 15 gold.   (50) Arizona notices that Ellion is standing behind him. Ellion holds out a potion and asks him to drink it for a platinum. Arizona takes the coin and drinks it; no immediate effects.   Arizona then goes home to sit on his porch.   Teth takes Pip to her apothecary and introduces him to her husband, Sebben, and her son, Noal.   Sebben makes up a box of herbs and remedies for Pip - which Pip immediately begins to eat.   (39) Pip leaves and it met with Opal; she is looking for Zayne who was playing hide and seek with her. She asks Pip to find him and offers him a shiny rock. Pip finds Zayne in a crate infront of the Sherrif's office and bribes him to return to his mother with a shiny rock. Opal gives Pip his reward, and Zayne swiftly takes it away. +NPC   Teth informs her husband of the task she's going on; she plans to kill two birds with one stone and take on a missing persons quest too.   (84) Teth hears the bell to her shop ring and sees Vern enter. He's stiff and uncomfortable, and asks if she's seen Isaac. She says no and he leaves. Noal speaks up and says he saw Isaac out in the Apple Orchard. Teth finds Isaac hiding behind a tree; his broken nose freshly bleeding. She goes to Vern and tells him where to find his son. +NPC   Arizona gets called by David to make sure the group doesn't dillydally.   Arizona finds Teth and Pip and Teth takes a moment to stop by the inn.   She gets intercepted by Poppy who gossips about Isaac getting into a fight with some adventurers.   Teth then goes to Luna who placed the quest to locate her husband, Ricky. She tells that he wears a red jacket and was taking supplies to Riktor town as they are going to be moving over there soon.   The group, now with two quests, borrows David's cart - and Maurice - and heads off into the mountain range half past 1.   Arizona naps with his hat pulled over his eyes as Teth and Pip talk. Pop talks about coming from the Southwest; she asks if he is from Gurrian and he says yes, but she knows he is lying. Teth then talks about her past; she met her husband in Kilstrom, Kilstrom and they moved to Little Town about 13 years ago.   After dark, they find the flag about 100 feet up a wall path. They pull over and begin to climb. Teth notices a rock that is out of place; she urges the others not to step on it. Arizona tells Pip to step on it - and he does. An avalanche of rocks fall and injure Teth. They can hear distant laughing. They continue to climb. Teth sees another out of place rock, and does not warm her traveling companions. Pip steps on it and gets a spear in his side. More distant laughing.   They reach the top and travel along a straight path that leads to a fire and tipi. Pip uses his staff to open the flap and a burst of flame singes Teth - this is followed by more laughing.   Teth threatens to throw the care package if the hermit does not show himself; he comes out and grabs the basket away. She says that David sends his regards, and the hermit replies "who?" before walking away.   The group returns to the cart where a bandit is trying to steal a wheel, he quickly departs.   The group moves further up the path to where other adventurers have made camp. Teth disappears in a mist to rest. Arizona rest in the cart.   Pip stays awake longer and finds a ring in the carriage. There is a picture of Teth and Sebben in it; Pip puts on the ring.   Pip awkwardly talks to some adventurers before sleeping too.   Teth reappears and takes the ring back from Pip.   Rest - next day - Tuesday the 3rd.   The next morning the group gets ready for their second quest to find Ricky.   Pip talks to some adventurers; he learns that a human man, named Anthony Jones, is helping with the well construction. Pip gives Anthony a gold coin so that he can get himself a gemstone.   Teth asks an elven woman if anyone was coming from Riktor town; she points out an Arizona look-a-like heading away from them. Teth asks if he saw a red jacket; he says about half a mile up the road.   The group finds rockfall and sees a red sleeve. With the help of some adventurers they clear the path and see a small cave in the wall of the mountain. Arizona and Pip go in and find an unconscious, who they assume dead, Ricky.   They drag him out and Teth (who also assumes he is dead) wakes him up with smelling salts.   The group then returns to Little Town.   As Teth enters the inn, Poppy tells her that Vern got beaten up by adventurers.   Teth tells Luna the good news, and Luna goes to her husband to throttle him. She pays Teth 1 platinum - Teth than splits this and shares the reward with Pip and Arizona.   Arizona calls David so they can receive their payment. Payment is delivered.   Arizona then goes home while Teth and Pip go chat with Poppy for awhile longer. +NPC   Rest - next day - Wednesday the 4th.   Arizona takes the day to go fishing.   Teth and Pip go to Ellion for a job posting. Ellion gives them 10 gold a piece and a random potion in exchange for an experiment. Ellion makes the two hold hands before plucking one of Teth's hairs and brushing the top of Pip's head into a vial. They tie the hair to the vial and walk off.   Pip drinks his potion (14) immediately and begins to hear animals talking (for 2 hours). He then runs into the woods.   Teth puts her potion (6) on a high shelf in her home.   To be continued...
