Session 30: Contract of the Deities Report

General Summary

Date: It is discovered that 1 day on the island is 7 days outside, so after negotiations they leave on the Month of Weakness 16th, 997 AC (Saturday).    Once discussion ended the Air Immortal removed his fog and the deities appeared in large chairs above the marble meeting place. Ahovz arrived first, her marble chair consumed by light. The glow burned the eye of any who looked, except for the Messenger who stared at Ahovz, a frown on her face. Erif appeared next at the chair farthest from her. His large stature dwarfed the chair he sat in; he held a number of files on his lap and checked his pocket watch. Lun and Water appeared at the same time; they smiled and leaned close as they whispered to one another. Earth appeared, the most ordinary looking of them all. No glow, no large stature, just an aura of power. He waved to Marin a hopeful smile on his face. Starz chair remained open the longest. Then in a flash of light it was filled. A man sat in the chair. He had tanned skin, white eyes, 6 fingers on each hand, a hooked nose like Lun's, and wavy red hair. A top his head was a pair of triangular sunglasses. He wore white robes like a toga and golden sandals. He beamed and lounged in his chair casually.    Approved items in the contract:

Ahovz maintain control over the sun

No contract order between Ahovz and sorcerers 

Erif contained to his dimension and in his volcanoes

3 weeks of additional summer

Ahovz no contract order with demons, all contact go through the Messenger

Starz maintain control over the stars

New constellation 

Starz allowed to walk on Hexadiv in his true form, on the condition he does not reproduce in that form

End conflict with sorcerers

Lun maintain control over the moon

Lun and Water continue working relationship

Demon title removed

All deities must claim their children - sorcerers and/or demi-gods

Council of delegates to be bonded to contract but free to roam 

Library built dedicated to the history of sorcerers - Beth allowed to choose location 

Bar library in Little Town (? I don't remember this one haha)

Water maintain control over waters

Ahovz must move sun back to previous location

Water will maintain residence on Amor with Lun and have a joint shrine

Earth maintain control over the ground

One mountain allowed to go 1000 feet taller - a waterfall must be coming off the highest one 

Erif maintain control over volcanoes and flame

Volcano made of crystal on the Home of the Demons to act as a shrine and place of pilgrimage 

Ahovz will no longer have followers attempt to kill Erif to gain his power

Paul recognized as a 2nd spirit of Earth 

All delegates get 1 wish 

Earth and the rest of the deities will work together to create a new deity to control the air and winds 

All contracts between Erif and followers must be renegotiated, and those who wish to leave service are allowed to go freely - every 5 years there will be a Jubilee where all contracts are null and void and can be renewed - Marin will oversee this Jubilee 

Deity delegation will meet every 5 years to discuss any amendments to the contract, and new delegates will be appointed 

The contract is approved.    Ahovz leaves in a flash, Erif gone just as quick leaving scorch marks in his wake. Where Darius has sat he also disappeared in fire. Water and Lun stayed seated, they held hands and chatted. They eventually faded in a shimmer. Earth talked with Starz before he left in a twinkle. Then Earth came down from his perch and took the Air Immortal by the hand. He ushered over Desiree and the three of them walked off, the ground shaking as they left the party's view.   Water left a number of boats on the beach for the delegates to depart. Samson and his party took one. Jilly walked straight into the ocean.   While standing with the party, Zoe shouted that she was Ahovz' daughter and a demi-god. She leaves shortly after in a glimmer.   The Messenger soon became a followed demi-god. Her light powers attracted travelers. She acts as a light in the darkness, protector of travelers, guiding their way.    Dolius went his own way and took a boat back to Vibrum.   Ellion lingered at Beth's side, waiting for her to choose where they went together. They decided to return to Little Town and one day make a portal to Drasta so they can sell their wares at the Market Place. She returned to her changeling form and enjoyed the water as they sailed off together.    Perrin took a boat and returned to Qwiv.   Tof has a meeting scheduled with Erif to discuss their contract, but he decides to go to Vibrum to find his family.    Marin, Marcus, and Johnny leave together. They head towards Little Town. Marin can feel the effect of her delegate status, her powers are enhanced - she can feel the magic, feel the sand shifting under the water, hear the rumble of the plates shifting.    Epilogues:   TOF - Tof is pulled into Erif's dimension for your meeting. The black space is full of people, the desk of the red tiefling hounded by people. He checks in and takes a seat, across from him is Openness. She gets called in before him and her meeting only lasts a few seconds before the next person is called in. Tof is finally called in and Erif sits at his desk, files piled high. Erif recognizes Tof and reads off his script, "Under the conditions of this new contract I am called to revisit any and all contracts between myself and my associates. I am hereby ordered to offer you an alternative contract, the same contract with a different term limit, or allow you to exit your contract if so desired. At this time I must hear your stance." Tof exits his contract and returns to Vibrum to his wife and child.   BETH - Sorcerers have been seeking out Beth ever since the contract was made public, they shower her with thanks and she gains great prestige. She decides to explore for awhile, taking Bush Lee along with her, and eventually begins to work with Ellion.    MARIN - After some time Earth sent Marin a note expressing his admiration for her and the flowers that had withered away in her hair rebloomed and sparkled with magic. Two years down the line, Marin still lived in Little Town. She saw the changes that happened. Saw Dominic take on a roll of deputy which allowed Marcus to spend more time with Marin. Marcus took her out on a picnic and talked about the old days, about one of the first times he noticed you but you didn't notice him (luckily). After reminiscing he got on one knee and proposed, and Marin said yes. They got married in Little Town and then went to Advig in order for Marin to take her place as cheiftess. The land she had been given by Earth would not be ready for another 25 years so they stayed in Advig and transformed the clan into skilled workers who strive to help others.    PERRIN - Perrin lived in the libraries of Qwiv for about 5 months, while there he reconnected with his family and researched changelings. After some time he returned to Little Town and sought out Marin. He had her prepare a spell and they traveled to the top of a mountain during a full moon. She cast moonbeam and Perrin crumbled. He transformed into a smaller, younger, feminine changeling. She stated I am I, not we. She killed Matt, but not the others, as she was always be Perrin. She decided to go home and have some tea and became a new resident to Little Town. She ingrained herself in the town, studying and helping the younger children. She was Marin's made of honor and grew closer to Don, acting like an aunt to Darcy. She began to follow Water along with Lun as well.    -   Little Town thrives. The mansion is converted into a library about sorcery and draws in many tourists and new residents as the town grows. Earth visits Annie more, and would see Marin when she was around. The winds in the area were chaotic for some time in the absence of a controller, but now they have settled - yet no deity has yet to reveal themself.    The party has gone down their own paths, and no doubt they will be full of danger and intrigue - adventures beyond belief. They will regroup again to maintain the peace and to pass on their wisdom. To be continued.        The End.
