Session 15: The Fight For Our Lives. Report

General Summary

As the crew of the Shenanigans recover from there ordeal with the Hyena looking creatures who seem to be more intelligent than the average creature. To top it off the weather has drastically changed with a thunder and lighting storm with heavy sheets of rain fall meaning any chance of a rescue at this point is not going to happen. Looking at the ruins of what was once a building of some sort they know that they can go in and use it for shelter from the weather. Before the party departs into the ruins lighting hits nearby showing the lay of the land and several creatures with there orange and yellow lights looking at them as they were eating the wounded creature that had been shot by party. Taking about 45 minutes to maneuver through the ruins the party realizes that somebody else has used this building before. Evidence of tracks and trampled vegetation show that it has been recently used. The party found a recently used campfire and a stack of wood nearby. The party after some struggles do the wet weather was able to get a fire going. Some of the people who tagged along for the safety voiced there concern of the creatures and being rescued. As the party settles in for the night setting up sleeping areas and establishing a watch for the night Domic discovers two people who look to be in there teens wearing camouflaged clothing and carrying single shot rifles. They are huddled behind rocks with their rifles in a ready position. Domic with no experience with kids goes back to tell the captain of his find. Captain Denniston and Dr. Cannon approached the teens along with some rations that were thrown by Domic and Jean Pierre were able to persuade the kids to come out with them. The problem was that no one could understand the language of the teens. The translators on the comms would take time to hear the language to be able to start translating. As Dr Cannon started working with the teens to be able to establish some form of communications the party started to settle down for the night. Watches being posted the two teens were alert saying word over and over again. Attempts at drawing in the dirt did help a little. The teens seem to be on high alert. The rain and thunder still could be heard outside. The translator started picking up on some of the words like sorry and trust. On the Third watch as Captain Lucas was on post he saw a light approaching in the ruins heading straight for them. Before Lucas could really react five people stumbled into their camp site. One of the members has been wounded by these same creatures that chased the crew into these same ruins. Following these new arrivals was the creatures as well creatures entering the ruins from other entry areas the fight for survival is on.
