Session 6 Report

General Summary

Mayor approached Thronus for help with bandits capturing people at the temple of Ramses. Party decides to help after meeting Thronus. Approaching the temple, there is a large band of bandits there. We sneak and engage the bandits, picking them off piecemeal. Being noticed, they started to come towards us en masse, but Kog successfully shouted "To the East" as a misdirect to buy us some time. To follow up, Zaj cast Silent Image, imitating a group of angry townsfolk running away from the bandits, to help sell the misdirection. After splitting into the woods to flank the church, Zaj coup de graces a man struggling with constipation, helping ease his burdens. Approaching the priest quarters, Zaj casts Sleep to put the two people in the room asleep. One sleeps, the other remains awake. It is apparently the leader, an elvish looking bandit with better quality gear. With one of them being asleep, the party decides to blitzkrieg the bandit leader and try to take him out before any more people show up. After some kicking of the bandit lord's ass, Thronus demands his surrender, and receives it. In exchange for his life, the bandit lord agrees to summon all of the prisoners to his quarters for us. Discovered priest journal, he has been missing for two months, . Taking the bandit lord hostage, they get Chief Genshin to agree to have his men stand down and offer the party and the prisoners safe passage. Za terrifies Chief Genshin and does anything that he says. After negotiations, they took off towards Millfort with Genshin and the townspeople. True to their word, the party lets Genshin go after taking his armor and weapons, and report back to the mayor.
