Auriane does not approve of the arranged marriage that Kolbrá is embarking on, Kolbrá questions Auriane's sense of duty. We get a flashback of Frederic Chopin convincing Auriane to flee her homeland to travel into Ashes in shame, as she failed to protect his brother Cedric Chopin when they were ambushed.
