something foul comes this way (session 8) Report

General Summary

the party goes out and moves back to the city, they move toward redlarch. upona rrival they are invited to a party with several high brow members of the society. they each recieve a gift, Tom recievs an 'ever fashionable cloak' and Brutus recieves a sentiant shield named carl. they recieve information that the water cult may be in the rivergard keep. they set out hiring a carridge to take them there. while on the way they were attacked by two cult members who were fanatical and declared theiur alligance to olhydra. their driver lef them and they proceeded on foot. upon arriving near to the gate they are approached by a man who states that he is  with the water cult and his bosses are willing to buy the party off for their cessasion to their aggression. Brutus considers this for a minute while Tom has been thowing a tnatrum, brutus killes the messenger and thye procceed intot he keep. they convince the interior guards that they are here to join and the boss is fetched. upon arrival the boss decalres them liars and that he had watched them kill his messenger . a fight broke out and the party eventually came out victorious.
