Session 8: Ramsburgh (pt.1) Report

General Summary

The trek to Ramsburgh has Frederique, Flanders and Sahraki resting at the Beheaded Lady, a mercat crossing that hosts festivals, fairs and gatherings for the frontier towns. Unfortunately for the group they are here during on off time and find without the troupes, colorful wagons, shops and actual life it is quite /dead/. However, Flanders causes a scene while trying to mug a fellow traveler which results in a chance meeting with Rhek, the Blood Hunter. Fast friendships are formed and the trio is now a foursome. Onward towards Ramsburgh and the group finds themselves besieged by goblin ambushers who have blocked off the singular pathway this side of the mountains to the old outpost. A troublesome ascent is undertaken and our heroes are soon being rescued by several members of the Stirges, a mercenary group that prides itself on it's abilities in hunting and slaying humanoid adversaries. They meet Hilde, Gerdy and the silent gunslinger Char'nuss Melunde. The goblin assault thwarted the group finally reaches the ridgeline only to be stopped in their tracks by a drawn line of armored horsemen.
