This worlds has been through a lot in the last 500 years angels, demons, and devils have broken through the veil and a huge war was fought killing about 70% of the mortal realms population. Portions of the world are still scarred and barren but civilization is starting to rebuild though shadows loom on the horizon. It is a more open world that the players can help shape for the good or bad. Choices they make may change things drastically. You will be starting in a last bastion city and exploring out from there with different areas having different events and possibilities in them.
