Session 20: Green Love

General Summary

Finding themselves below the Treetop Tavern, the party sent Bork to the stables before they ascended up to the tavern. When they made it up to the large tavern hall, they were greeted by the tavern's proprietor Altin Oakenlock. The elf welcomed them and explained the tavern's rules and accommodations. After being warned about not harming the living tavern, and booking two private suites, the party sat down and ordered some food and drinks. As the night went on they began to socialize with the other guests. Among them, they found a religious zealot and grumpy dwarf. They also came in contact with a big lonely half-orc who had put up a notice on the noticeboard.    After Trinky looked into the matter, it turned out that the orc named Kark who was in love with the tavern's bouncer Greeba. The party decides to help him. All except Quinumo, who was in desperate need of coin, and instead took on a mission to find some rare herbs for the bartender Sylla. If he did, she would give him a reward depending on what herbs he found. This did not go very well and he spent most of the night wandering the forest below in search of said herbs. The rest of the party was more successful and in a masterful series of maneuvers, they managed to get the bouncer and Kark alone in the hanging pool underneath the tavern.    In the end they were rewarded with a dagger from Kark's massive collection of weapons. They then went to their rooms to get some well deserved sleep.
