Stagnant Water Report

General Summary

Fought at the guardhouse.  Shot at from a distance.  Ball bearings.   Neale killed, Callie saved, Haft saved.   Decide to make sure the children of the bog are ok, Hayden knocks out the unrepentant owner.  Zel and Hayden put the other owner in charge and make it clear that they will be back to check on the two surviving children.  Hayden drags unrepentant owner to the guardhouse and throws him in the cellar.   Fortify and rest up in the guard house.  Callie recovers and begs Tolaris to resurrect the dead guards. Haft decapitates the remaining bodies.   Investigate Iden's house.  Bow missing, Iden asleep in his bed, poisoned.  Hayden drags him back to the guardhouse where he can be watched over.  Callie has the idea to use Locate Object to find Iden's bow and senses it moving north towards the bog.   Party set out to the bog, investigate the lightning tree and the hag battleground.  Sense the bow moving west, towards the small plateau.  Cave mouth discovered.  Inside they find a black dragon talking to a handsome human with Iden's bow across his back.
