Session XXXIV: Abandoned Dwarven City of Khardun

General Summary

Khardun

Adventurers reached shore of city of Khardun and heard message from Laduguer himself. He asked them to kill leaders of this city to avenge his people and gave them disguise so they can't be distinguished by enemies. They started to walk around the city, finding important places and speaking to characters that might help them in their goal. Later, they found out place where they are making magic items and it could explode if handled correctly. They managed to kill one out of 5 important people for the city quietly and tried to kill local warlord, however this turned into bloodbath and they had to improvise. They managed to escape the city and decided to change the way the are handling it. They decided to destroy the magical forge, blasting the city to shreds. So they did, they've helped local Duergars who where held as prisoners to start rebellion, destroy the magical forge and with it part of the city, destroying everything and hundreds of dark elves. Then they managed to find entrance into the city's old mines, placing explosives all around the city, including magical black powder with very powerful blasting potentional. Meanwhile Duergars were placing the bombs, adventurers wandered deeper into the city to find last part of Borygen's armor, which they did very fast - it was given to him from a statue, where it was displayed but made invisible to everyone not-worthy. When they returned, they watched together with 52 duergars, whom they saved from slavery, how the Dwarven City of Khardun is torn into pieces by explosives alongside with hundreds of elves.   

Bazrek Nithil

They've escaped from Lowerdark to Bazrek Nithil through parts of Middledark known as Silent Dark, which are large locations where nothing exists, including food or water. They are completely dead. They've managed to walk through this with usage of their magic, creating food and water for themselves as well as their followers. After more than a week they managed to reach Bazrek Nithil, where Borygen found out that Krommhammer is no longer among the living, that he died few days before their arrival. The city is currently in process of choosing new leader and his mother went to Dis. They've spent some time here, resting and Borygen went to visit Krommhammer, where he saw a vision of all three Laduguer's bulls finally drinking beer together in the afterlife.

Erodes

After they managed to reach the surface, they received invitation to Erodes. They were told to take some great clothes as only important meetings are handled in Erodes' Great Hall. So they went shopping for some representative clothing and later, when they reached the Great Hall, they found out it was organized by Spider and his organization which names remains mystery. They've got together several of important adventurers to find new organization that won't be political and that will secure the safety of the realm.
