Fall Festival
General Summary
The group returned to the Fieri house the evening before the Fall Festival. Bimble surprised Lyra with a small platform built into the tree she was sleeping in, so she could sleep in the tree a little more comfortably. Everyone else settled into more traditional beds. The next morning, Lyra set off early to help with the offerings to Yavanna, to ask for aid in the upcoming harvest. Townies has brought portions of the festival food to the town square, where Tanove Pebbletrick is accepting the offerings, to bring back to the priory. Lyra helped bring the food back to the priory, and burn incense in Yavanna's offering. Murtagh, Guy and Bayleaf, along with the rest of the Fieri family, went straight to the Twon Center for the party honoring Tulkas. A long, heavy table was filled with food brought from all over town. Pumpkin soups, pancakes, stews and bread bowls, mini grilled cheeses, lemon scones, charcutery boards, rissoto, sweet breads and cakes, grilled mushrooms, onions, and rice dishes were pilled high, with gnomes piling food onto the plates they'd brought. The group settled at the table with the Forged, Orcharidist, so Bayleaf could comfortably sit. Orcahdist and their partner, Kiril, chatted with them about the Orchards they tend, and how the two of them have managed to tend to off seas on fruit trees. Guy did not catch sight of his ex, Hellys Dazzlebock Kindbranch, but did see Hellys's mom, Doli Loudfell Dazzleblock. Guy and Bimble took part in the town's Archery contest- both doing very well. Guy made it to round four of five, and Bimble to the final round. In the evening, around a bonfire and sitting mostly by themselves, they discussed what they wanted to do next, mostly coming up with questions: How will they leave the Free States? Should they go to Naples for aid from the Quarter Masters? Murtagh mentioned they should return to the island they'd bought, and Timtim recommended Twin Trees and Forge Rock to sail out of the Freestates. Maybe they should start in Gnaples for intel?
