Inside the Warehouse: The Dead Throne Room

General Summary

After a long rest and a mental re-calibration, the party decides they're going to try and lowball the King Undying.   They choose to collectively offer the span-reeds that Guy has. They are not a matching set, but plan to present them as an "opportunity to communicate outside his court". They're also offering the last of Lyra's muffins.   After waiting an ambiguous, untrackable amount of time, guards usher the party forward to make their offering. The king sits in his throne, sunken cheeks and glittering eyes, unmoving except his gaze jumping between the party's faces and the span reeds they offer forth. Picking up some unseen sign, the guards declare the offering accepted, and usher the party off the throne's dais. As they pass through an archway leading out of the hall, they are teleported back to the halls and storage of the Anonymous Warehouse proper.   Murtagh took a moment to name his familiar- the red belly hawk is named Scooch.   Combing through the halls, they found the Warehouse Keeper again, who told them how to find the garden wheel in clipped, professional tones. After being told "Have a pleasant day" Lyra whispered "Oh she doesn't like us"   After finally finding the center of the maze again, the party realized the walls and doors have changed. The exit to the maze is closed off, and new rooms are shown. They follow the Keeper's (sparse) directions to the Garden Maze. After a brief diversion at a statue of Yavanna, they push on.
