Session 2

General Summary

Our party awoke to the smell of poached eggs and hollandaise sauce... which The Emissary proceeded to drink like coolaid (imagine the drinking syrup scene from super troopers). After breakfast, the party found the body of Olred, who had wondered out of his bed during the night... to start drawing a ritual spell near the portal, seemingly in his own blood. Upon investigation, Ardisia recognized it as the symbol from the Cilese Empire. From there, our party went to the beach where they found a boat willing (after some discussions and negotiations) to take them to Scholara Island. On board, they found both Ezra and Raskin on board as well... and The Emissary began to spread the word of The Fat God. Their leisurely travel was interrupted by the boat seemingly slamming into a rock (or being slammed into), causing flooding below decks. The party split up in different directions and soon found themselves battling flooding in the basement and fires in the galley. Asking Ezra afterwards, they discovered that Ardisia's Shadow was seen lighting the fires in the Galley. It should be noted that neither Ezra, nor the captain (Redstrom) seem to have the shadow mark on their hands. Ardisia went looking for one of the sailors burned in the flames and healed him slightly in his rest... only to have him assume she was The Fat God. The party, now tired, went to bed, leaving Luna up to keep watch. In the middle of the night, only a couple hours into the rest, shadows of the party appeared in a dash of ice chilling cold... We shall return next week to see where it goes from here!
