Session 8

General Summary

Destroying the constructs, the party went back to try and complete the puzzle... failing again, Cooper lost interest and simply broke down the secret door into a back cave. There, the party found a tree surrounded by the illusion of water. Under the water, they found the black sorcerer sand they were looking for. Coming back to the surface, the party met Sir Percival Waggles, the President of Solaris. Pompus and arrogant, he imformed the group they were to come with him back to meet with Lyra Stormcaller. Input from Triana and some quick decisions led the group to go back into the ruins. After some time, Sir Waggles and his party managed to break in. The party held them at bay using the Javalins while Cooper used his rope and grappling hook to provide a path for the party to escape out a well in the back. Running back towards the Cathedral, the party once again found itself fighting off shadows in the middle of the night. This time including shadow deer and some particularly aggressive shadow rabbits. Now, weak from fighting and tired from running, the party pushed on into the dark... away from Sir Waggles and towards the old cathedral and the body of Ardisia....
