Session 020: The Amber Temple Report

General Summary

Entering the Tome of Strahd again they saw that Strahd had taken up the arcane arts & was practicing magic in his study.  When he started hearing voices (the party) speak to him about what was going on he admitted that he was worried that Tayanna was attached to Sergei & didn't like that she called Strahd Elder. 
He mentioned that a voice was speaking to him to make a deal with him, & learnt that he was headed to the Amber Temple.

They made their way to the Amber Temple (learning it's location in Barovia) & followed Strahd as he walked through the temple murdering it's occupants.  They arrived in the Amber Vaults where Strahd went up to an Amber cube & made a deal with something within.  
The party attempted to prevent the ritual from occuring & were unsuccessful. 
When it was completed Strahd turned to Alek & killed him drinking his blood.
They came out of the book, learning something new about Strahd in the process.

Will C.R.A.P.P. seek out the Amber Temple as well?
