General Summary
We meet the 4 characters
- Ruyah - a tall female firbolg
- Pickit - a agender warforged
- Sonny - a scrubby looking merchant human*
- Adri - a human Ranger with adveturous spirit
Sonny offers the 3, 2Gp for aquest - to find his brother, who may have befallen by merchants.
Whilst he's attempting this sales pitch, this scene is caught the attention of another person.
Julian Oakenwood, approaches, asking if they'd be able to along the way to this other Sonny mission - clear up some rats that have infested his winery.
He offers 100Gp, and gives them a platinum coin each in good faith. (10 Gp). He mentions that Jeophrey, who he left in charge of the place, has absconded.
He says to find him at the inn he's staying at, run by Mrs Pimm.
The strangers, form a temporary adventuring party, and firstly head to a shop, purchasing armour and goods.
Thereby seeing Pickits strange body for the first time. Ruyah notices the black rot, a festering, growing mould that has corrupted Pickits chest cavaity. Noting that, she may be able to help, but not without supplies and materials, of which Adri, may have seen growing in a forest in her time traveling.
You head into the upper slums, asking for advice from an old lady.
You find the The Silver barrel, soon enough, and come across a rat infested tarven like wine house.
After removing the pests, you find yourself looting whats left of the abandonded place, you find several books on architecture and tunneling structure, a bottle of wine - you think, a few unknown jars, and items , a coin purse, papers and a deceased body of one male human, mostly eaten by the Rats.
Not only that, but you find a trapdoor at the back of the tavern leading to the sewers at best guess.
Pickit mentions, hearing someone or something use the door, and descend down.
You decide to close, baricade and cover up the trap door.
and head back to find Julian to relaim your coin.
