Session 3: Les Miserablin

General Summary

When the party awoke, a goblin (Itsme) came to invite to party to parlay with the new chief Yeemik. Yeemik thanked them for slaying Klarg and mentioned his aspirations to be the goblin king. In exchange for Klarg's death he said he'd let them leave with their lives and they could have Wynlana for 20 gold. Mardot offers the party's assistance in slaying King Grol and instating Yeemik as the new king. In exchange for this he ransomed Wynlana for only 5 gold. Yeemik also let info about the Black Spider and Vyerith slip in their discussion.     Wynlana led the party to Phandalin and met the group. She told them about Iarno Albrek the wizard from the Knights of the Frontier, Gundren Rockseeker and his map.     The party arrived in town and each got a room and ate some good soup. The group played blackjack and even some locals joined in. A tiefling miner told them about some Wild Elves around the area and said that the Townmaster could give them more details.     Mardot and Calix went to the Lionshield Coster so that Mardot could buy glue. While there, Calix wanted to buy a shield and the two of them tried to talk Linene into bankrolling the Goblin Revolution.     Salt joined Rost who was wandering Phandalin yelling for Iarno. They ended up at the orchard of former adventurer, Daran Edermath. He only vaguely remembers a wizard coming through town around when the Redcloaks started showing up. He said some adventurers should take care of the Redcloaks since the Townmaster is incapable of doing so. He also told them of zombies sighted by Old Owl Well in the Irricroft Wilds.     Rost and Salt ran down the road to the Sleeping Giant Taphouse. Mardot and Calix ran after them as well as some kids that were playing nearby. Rost picked a fight with a couple of Redcloaks by asking about Glasstaff, which started initiative. Calx used his new bard powers to cast Sleep and knock out the enforcer and one of the ruffians. Mardot ran up and knock one out and injured the other. That last one ran, but was caught by Rost. The captureed ruffian pointed them to their base while a halfing child, Carp, came up to Calix. He told them he had found a secret entrance to their base while playing in the woods and that he could lead them there. The party absolutely loves Carp.
