Session 5: GLASSTAFF

General Summary

The group went to confront the bugbears and save the goblin they were tormenting. Calix and Rost took the brunt of the attacks but the party managed to kill their leader, Mosk, and another. Calix tried out his Ring's new power with Nap and knocked out the last bugbear. The party licked their wounds and met Drewp.   The party avoided the Redcloak common room and took the secret backdoor to Glasstaff's study. Drewp stayed in a barrel in the store room. The party snuck down the staircase and opened the door. Mardot went first and killed Glasstaff with two attacks. The party looted the room with Salt taking the Staff of Defense. Other loot included spell scrolls of Charm Person and Fireball (which Calix took Fireball), coins, jewels (taken by Icarus), a strange keystone, and a Potion of Invisibility in Glasstaff's Lab (taken by Rost). The party also foiund a letter from The Black Spider to Glasstaff.   The Party left a note on Glasstaff's body to make it appear that the Black Spider had killed him and ordered the Redcloaks to disperse. The party left and went to rest, with Icarus stopping to pray, as he had promised Sister Garaelle he would, along the way.
