Session 3 - Warriors of Kord Report

General Summary

8th - 9th of Lenzin 200   The party made their way over to the Church of Kord, Mara was looking for a quiet moment of worship while velvet had the idea to bring up the missive brought from Maford about the cultists. There they met Warcleric Rebald, an imposing man and the current leaer of the temple who seemed to be dealing with cultist issues of his own, after some talking they were offered a taskto go investigate an abandonned house in the southern part of the city. A place Velvet was familiar with in her urchining days as a good hideout from the town's police force.   Upon investigating they found the mark of the yellow eye on the door way and slipped in to investigate. Finding a means into the basement they confronted cultists and monster alike, fighting their way through to a catacomb beneath even the basement. Working their way from room to room and slaying cultists and monsters they turned into an alchemist labratory and defeated the mage there, seemingly working on something nefarious. If it wasn't for Mara's quick action the mage was prepared to suicide fireball himself and everyone around him.   They moved onto the last remaining room, finding a pit of viscous liquid. They took a sample and began making their way back out of the underground catacomb.They rummaged through the things remaining and found an eldritch scarf among a few other things.   They returned to the temple of Kord and gave their report of what happened in their efforts to clear cultist den. They also got news that another den was rooted out and one of the cultist leaders was seemingly captured. They went to go check in with the town guard where they spoke with the clerk and then the captain, Velvet recognized the man that they brought in, however the captain was not keen on performing the interrogation that day. The party left and went back to the Dusky Fawn. Harper and Arlanval performed for the Inn and the party settled down for the night. Velvet returned to her home for the night.   Velvet returned in the morning with three other tieflings trailing her, her surrogate sibblings Glory, Nowhere and Despair. Glory being particularly critical of this new crew her Velvet was paling around with.   They checked in at the requests board and got an idea of potential work in the nearby area, learning of more goblin problems, a request for plant monster parts and a caravan leaving in the near future towards Woodate.
