Session 5 - Ruins in the plains Report

General Summary

9th - 10th of Lenzin 200   They ventured though the first level, through maze like corridors, Velvet leading the way and clearing traps and triggers as she found them.They fought an Ooze and found gold, a green pair of greaves, a +1 hammer and some silvered throwing hammers. Back tracking ddown another pathway they came across a fountain full of dwarven ale, being guarded by more of those goblins. Captained by a pair of Hobgoblins, they engaged the party, and after a lengthy fight, the party prevailed though were a bit worse for the wear of it. They retreated back to the surface to get some sleep and chek in on Rux and the cart.   They awoke the next morning and delved back into the depths of the earth, dfollowing the stone hallways back to the fountain. In their zeal to continue however, they were ambushed by the remaining goblins on that level, attacked as soon as they came through that door. In the fighting one of the statues surrounding the fountain was damaged by a wayward Shatter spell, destroying it. Venturing further in They found themselves in a room with a large statue and a pair of treasure chests.
