In which exploration was rewarded and a forest burned

General Summary

Upon arriving at the stables the Chosen were waylaid by a herald, Lorena, guarding the door who would not let them pass despite their best efforts. After a few minutes they were allowed in and were confronted by three individuals. Erdan, Kensit, and Mekeal. They were invited to join the Harbingers, a darker arm of the Heralds, who take care of information gathering and protection of assets. Upon agreeing to join the Chosen were informed that it would mean a new set of lessons.  The first of these new lessons was run by Lorena. She asked them about their history in less than legal activities. Finally she disappeared into the woods and the group was instructed to find her. They broke into two parties as a magical fog descended on them. Azzabin and Lorilla decided to stay in one place and try to lure Lorena to them by starting a fire that quickly spread. Tas, Renn, and Hellion took their own route around more of the edge of the forest hoping to flank her. They got stuck in a maze for a while once the managed to get into it and finally arrived on the opposite side to find some footprints leading them farther into the forest along a stream.  Not long after they crossed paths with a running Lorilla, disguised as Hellion, as she fled the fire that they had started and earth that was erupting behind her. During this time Azzabin was hiding in his ring to escape the flames. Following the stream the reunited party made it to a pond just before the fire overtook them and they were saved by Lorena putting the fire out with a tidal wave. Upon them catching their breaths she critiqued their methods before transforming into a falcon and flying away. Leaving them to find their own way home.
