Session 1:The road to Breakshore

General Summary

The players, all working for the same employer, were tasked with safely escorting a caravan from Raam to Breakshore. The caravan consisted of a huge cart pulled by two inixes, seven crodlu-riding guards, and a small herd of erdlus.   Along the way, they were ambushed by a small group thri-kreen raiders. Most of the guards and crodlus, and also an inix, were killed by the bug men. The players managed to eventually defeat them and Gar was able to same two guards, Arman and Gash, from death using illegal magic. During battle however, Gar was hurt very badly and had to use defiling magic to heal himself and save himself from death. It did not go unnoticed.   With an inix dead, the other wouldn't be strong enough to pull the caravan, but with Osiris's telekinesis and Zwerk's skill with animals, they were able to get the group going. Somewhere on the south side of the mekillot mountains, overlooking the sea of silt, the players were faced with a problem. Stuck on a steep hill with no shelter, and with the wind picking up, a silt storm could be seen quickly approaching. Using a combination of psionics and magic were able to construct a small shelter in a very short time. All but two of the erdlus survived, but otherwise, the group managed and made it safely to Breakshore. The players were led to one of the biggest buildings in the village, where they would most likely meet the person in charge of this village/outpost.   The inside the building, with its luxurious decor, thick carpet, and fragrant scents, the players each exchanged glances while taking a seat on the giant pillows spread here and there. Suddenly, some of them realized where their uneasy feeling was coming from. The decorum felt not just elegant, but had the allure of an imposing authority. It was a templar's place!
