Session 88 - Walking into Exinula

General Summary

Friedrich and the young tiefling teleported back to Helene hut. While they were there they bonded. Friedrich found out the tiefling is orphan and the tiefling shared about how he killed the captain and not his vice captain. The young tiefling did that as an act of self defense because he was being targeted for his race (kind of familiar to Remus).   He also told Friedrich his name, and Friedrich told him in return some weird thunder name (thunder split I think, maybe he got jealous of the cool name I invented).   After the talk the two of them met with Ellaine (who was mean to the young tiefling) and her three acolytes of Ella'li. For some reason Friedrich did a weird motivational talk with her accolyte that looked less good than the others.   Ellaine continued her mean phase and suggested to Friedrich to use the power of Ella'li, the goddess of plagues and diseases, the latter refused but noted to Helene that if she would use her power against those who do crimes against religion, his goddess will forgive.  

The party sends Roger south

While all that happened Roger flew there on Greg, his hippogriph. Funnily enough in the same time that happened, Friedrich used a sending spell to communicate with Max the barbarian and in that message he said where he was going. Max was shocked I think because in his message he said to him that he is wanted (again) and that the group continues to move north and that they will meet in the next town. The conversation ended with Max saying Roger because he remembered that Roger was on his way to Friedrich.   When Roger arrived at the cabin he realized Friedrich, Ellaine and the Tiefling teen (Tuh-Baxaile was his name, yes) . Roger sensed something watching him, but because of the darkness of the night he could not have spotted what.  

Chimera vs hippogriff

When roger left he continued to fell being watched. Later he saw a camp and noticed Friedrich, Helena and the tiefling. He called them but then a chimera fired a fire breath on him and Greg, causing Greg to be heavily injured and crushing on the ground unconscious.
Enraged Roger flew to the chimera and attacked it, but felt like he attacked metal. After that the chimera grabbed Greg, but Friedrich healed him and yelled some mumbo jumbo about religion which caused the chimera to be shaken. Helene used a spell that stopped the chimera from flying and blinded it, so it dropped Greg and fled. Roger rode Greg after the chimera until it entered a cave. In that cave Roger killed it with a single shot, there they found the orc owner of the beast and took its armor. The all cave had House Ugran.  

Raid on the Watchtower

Meanwhile Remus Max and Henry climbed a mountain, Reus climbed it naturally while hiding with one of his magical binding umbral stone max and Henry also climbed quite gracefully, even more impressive for a goliath. When they reached the top of the hill, they noticed a military outpost, and Remus wanted to kill all of the soldiers (because he wanted to and because of Syncol request). Remus did not want to once again kill innocent people and children, so he asked Henry to check the camp using his rank to see if someone other than soldiers are there. Henry pulled rank and the group entered the outpost. There they saw some women of the night (and not the good bat kind) sleeping in the tents with the soldiers.   Remus used his amazing social skill to get the women to leave the tent without spending a single copper piece and then Max took the five women to a deep part of the forest. Remus used 3 cloud kills spells on the tents killing all the soldiers and the lieutenant of the camp, while Avars killed a watcher of the camp. Remus looted the lieutenant rank and cloths, while the group looted the all camp and the magical tent. Remus used arcane mark to mark the center of the camp with the letters of "TideBreakers".
