Session 18: Talking in Tongan Report

General Summary

The crew ventured into the Ragetiki at night in order to meet with the Terrors of Tonga gang leader, Loto.   Entering the club, Hector and Riley were able to contact Rozo and start their meeting with Loto. A large and imposing figure, Loto set the terms of the deal of which Hector negotiated a different offer. Loto agreed to let Hector sell in the bar for one night, but he would need to split the profits with Loto and after that he would buy the product at half cost. As they left the office, a member of the Tongans entered the room with a visibly beaten and high Tyche. The Valkyrie member who assisted the crew in delivering their information to the NCPD during the Opera.   While the negotiations were underway, Gene was able to take control of one of the two panther drones and position the unit to watch the heavily secured closet door.   Before being able to sell any of his product, Hector and Riley watched as Rozo and the scientist the crew saw earlier in the day, trade something small across the bar. After placing himself in front of the scientists path, Hector offered the man drugs which morphed into a competition about who had the greater med tech knowledge.   After challenging him to a bet, Lark led Hector through the closet door and down into a lab under the Ragetiki where he showed off an extensive lab of modern and unmarked medical systems in an advanced lab. After Hector won the bet and grabbed two data chips off of the desk, Lark escorted him through the halls where he showed off his Haas Bioroid. The bioroid is a large organic android that responds to voice commands. Voice commands of only those in the system.   After asking about the possibility of getting a job, Lark told Hector to approach Arasaka and get on the good side of Singletary.   While Hector was given the tour by Lark, Riley observed the code to access the closet door. The rest of the crew were able to get into the basement after Gene easily bypassed the biometric screening process. Determining they were somewhere they didn't want to get caught, they quickly turned and made their way back up to the bar.   In the club, Lark completed his end of the bargain and told two of the Tongans to sell Hector's drugs that night. As they waited, Lark went back into the closet, and Riley and Hector waited near the bar. They watched as Tyche was taken from the back room through the closet door.   Meeting with Loto again after the selling the drugs, Hector and Loto agreed that he would bring 200 doses of the low end goods by Thursday night.    While speaking with Loto, Gene was able to decipher the data chips and learned that it contained a significant amount of data regarding a few subjects listed with a code.   SPRITE-44METZO SPARTA-13LEONARD STRIPE-44GITFAKT PARTS-314SANDERSON RIP-344573COSIN PIRATE-54IZEL TRAPES-14HUNTRESS STRIP-434ALIX   Before leaving the club for the night, Hector met up with Rozo one last time, over hearing a few of the Tongans speaking about killing a cop named Tycho, Roddy's partner. After taking one last shot, Hector dropped the data chips on the ground and as he walked off Riley watched as Rozo picked them up, placing them in his pocket.   The crew then found a room for the evening to speak about the information they gathered.
