Session 35: Showtime Report

General Summary

Silverhand Showtime at the Crater.   After the crew rested and restocked, they headed for the big show at the crater site. After running into a backup of traffic, Jackie was able to call in a nomad favor, and Redneck Rob was able to help plow a path through using a large dump truck.   The off road travel proved to be too much for Mordin, and after get the vehicle stuck twice, the team broke an axle on the truck attempting to pull it out of a rut. After parking their vehicles with the rest of the nomad tribes out front of the venue, the team entered through two of the destroyed buildings passing a handful of nomads running security with a Minerva Collective patch.   Entering the site, a k-pop band that Jackie was strangely familiar with was playing on stage as the crowds filled the venue arena, as well as all of the broken and destroyed buildings that made up the edge of the crater.   As the team made their way through the crowd Rogue pointed out the crates with anti-air weapons inside of them, as Jackie collected a handful of nomads to follow them toward the back of the venue. Finding their way toward the side of the javelin itself, the crew was able to access the back area as Tracy Rhodes welcomed them, and Johnny Silverhand signaled the crew toward the back room after Gene made contact with Alt.   In the back room, the crew was able to get Alt and Johnny into a side room to inform them about Tracy and the plan to blow the crater up using the power source in the javelin. Gene noticed as Alt moved into the other rooms in the NET and began to turn off all the communication devices. After a few miscues between Gene and Mordin, the doctor punched Alt attempting to stop her from running.   After a tense encounter between the crew and Johnny, the team found themselves back in the main room with all of the band members, a pistol wielding Johnny, and Tracy speaking with someone on a communication device and holding a trigger to the bomb.   After Jackie began to drag Tracy toward the stage, Alt implicated herself as working with Tracy when she backed that she was not bluffing about detonating the device. As the rest of the band began to try and stop the team from killing Tracy, a voice began to speak across the communicator that Jackie had taken from the woman just as Riley was getting ready to remove the detonator, and Tracy's hand, with her blades.   The voice of Shav spoke across the device demanding that the team take an AV that was approaching the javelin and to come meet with him face to face or else he would detonate the device.   As the crew left the javelin, taking Tracy with them, the team gave the word to the nomads to begin assaulting the Metacorp members that were working with the Minvera collective.   The AV carried the team up to one of the floors of a destroyed building above the show as Johnny and Samurai began to take the stage. Climbing out of the vehicle, the team was presented with multiple members of the militech security force, Singletary, and the soldier that Riley hit with a rocket grenade on top of the Araska tower.    As the team was escorted across the damaged building, Shav stepped out from a Militech mobile intelligence station greeting the crew.   "It's time to talk value."
