Session 13: An Empire of Night Report

General Summary

The crew prepares for their mission to assist the the Judith with their infiltration of the Arasaka Towers.   Jackie and Riley retrieve Ricky's body from the Shredderz and gave it to Ricky's sister Ingrid to prepare the funeral.   Doug receives a delivery from Alix and the Judith crew Thursday night giving last minute information regarding the infiltration plan.   Friday night, the crew arrived at Arasaka tower, and using the tickets that Rogue and Doug had obtained. Entering the surreal gardens, the crew moved to begin disabling the cameras and access the weapons cache that was left by the Judith.   Before the show started, the crew noticed Shav Unjab speaking with an older asian man in a private office, as well as ran into Detectives Roddy and Tycho make their rounds throughout the venue, but Hector avoids their gaze.   The team places the information that they obtained from Meredith and Avery Law Consultants regarding Izel's filing of cases since her disappearance and have Tyche give it to them.   The show begins as the crew cleared out the top level of the gardens and as the alarms started to go off the crew began disabling the satellite dishes at the corner of the building. A large ship grabbed the VIP room and air lifted from the building revealing two mechanized forces underneath.   The team began to defend the zone as Hector watched as the Neon Witch began to glow and release an EMP, and held the guards coming across the bridges from the general seating space.   As the extraction and distraction teams made their way to the roof of the building, the team held the landing zone as Riley used an RPG to disable the mechanized units, and Gene took control to halt the assault of the armored guards. Jackie disabled the NET security room using drugs provided by Hector.   As the extraction vehicles landed, Riley easily dispatched of a large cybernetic guard using the last rocket as the team loaded into the AV units. Lifting off into the sky, the team escaped from the building as Jackie parachuted down to the street below.
