Session 20: Arasaka Blitzkrieg Report

General Summary

As quickly as the crew was warned by Logan Slade of the oncoming attack, they saw black armored Arasaka soldiers approaching the them from in between the tents.   Taking cover in the hole that was dug to act as Ricky's grave, the crew watched as Mordin was shot in the leg, he body falling to ground in pain. Jackie pulled him into the ditch, while Gene searched him for something to counter the drugs in the teams system, and the storm riders fought with the other Arasaka soldiers.   After defeating the soldier, one of the two larger exo-suits self destructed. While most of the crew ran, Hector finished off the individual inside by unloading the entirety of his magazine into the helmet of the suit.   With a bright light, flames erupted from the core of the suit engulfing Hector's legs and leaving him trapped in the pit with the blue flames burning around him. Logan and one of the other Storm Riders pulled him from the pit, while Doug doused his the flames on his legs with his suit jacket.   Using a makeshift cot, the crew carried Hector and the other injured to the medical facilities in the Nomad Market. The med-techs there were able to stabilize him, while the crew saw many more injured littering the streets overwhelming the medical tents.   With the threat passed, Logan spoke with the team informing them that he believe the attack was a result of the nomads sheltering Johnny Silverhand, and that Jackie and the team should make their way to Wandering Joe's garage to make sure he is unharmed.    Doug disagreed however and told the crew about the kidnapping of Lady Luck Santiago, known around the camp and to the council as Councilwoman Santos of the Aldelcaldo tribe. He informed them that while he was staying in her tent, a woman Santos referred to as the Huntress entered the tent, stabbed Doug, and kidnapped the councilwoman.
