Session 23: Lab Grown Hooligans
General Summary
The crew prepped to break into the Ragetiki basement where they believed that Lady Luck Santiago was being held.
Doug completed his reports and closed out his day reviewing the stock activities of the companies involved in the Nomad camp assault, determining that someone with a lot of Arasaka stock was selling.
Approaching the club, Jackie called out over the airwaves for help, and many members of Aldecaldoes, as well as other nomad families answered. While Jackie waited outside for the members to show up, the rest of the crew headed into the bar with a fifteen minute timer until the nomads planned to knock down the door.
Inside, the dance floor was desolate and the Tongan members were tense watching the back room door. After sitting down at the bar to order drinks, the team overheard the bartender speaking with one of the patrons about the NCPD officers that showed up to raid the place, and were now in the back office with some of the other Tongans.
A familiar face to some of the crew erupted from the office doors, detective Ernie Lipscum. An older detective who had worked with Gene in the past. After ordering everyone to leave by discharging his fire arm into the ceiling, Lipscum turned back toward the office, where the crew caught a glimpse of Roddy, Izel's brother.
With the distraction in place, the crew made their way through the locked door and into the basement lab.
After working their way through the halls, the crew found themselves in a rooms made up of a half dozen people inside work chambers, while Dr. Ada, Loto, Singletary, and others talked about an upcoming project.
Entering the room, Mordin attempting to distract the group hypoed the a female doctor, but the act was taken as one of agression, and Loto pressed forward for an assault. As the team fought in the hallways of the lab, a katana yielding Rogue began to slice through the equipment in one of the lab rooms.
Jackie and the nomad crew busted through the front door, Jackie and cerebrus in front. After unloading dozens of rounds through the club, the nomads pressed in to the upstairs bar. Losing one of the nomads in a fire fight, the team ended the last of the surviving NCPD officers with a grenade behind the bar.
As Gene raced to elevator in the lab to let Jackie and the nomad crew through, Loto hurled his fiery blade, landing his scythe weapon into the leg of Mordin.
