Session 30: The Lights Went Out in Night City Report

General Summary

As the dance floor erupted into screams, chaos and gun fire, the crew upstairs on the second floor began to fight with the three few guards that stood between them and Bruce Skiv. After dispatching the guard that was fighting Hector with his Katana, Rogue scared off another.   Gene used the time to unlock the wrist guards preventing Riley from using her wrist blades allowing her and Jackie to drop another guard. While all of this was happening, Bes Isis made her appearance known by throwing a guard over the railing and onto the dance floor below.   Hector and Gene worked to open unlock the door as the team made their way into the back rooms. Moving from door to door, the crew banged on each one calling out for Skiv. After using her thermal vision, Riley was able to point out two rooms of interest, while Gene observed two netrunners exit one of the rooms, both with errors across their face.   Gene and the netrunners began to battle in net space, as Gene was able to stun one using a hammer program. While he fought the other digitally, Jackie and Riley disable him in meat space, leaving the runners stunned on the floor of the room.   While Hector attempted to override the last door's security lock, a long blade jolted from behind the wall cutting into the doctors shoulder, and Jackie unloaded the clip of his rifle into the wall. As the door was finally opened, the Dalai Slice burst from the room slicing into Jackie.    Realizing who it was, Riley began to reason with the Dalai attempting to cool down the situation. However, before the two women could determine what was going on, Hector and Jackie continued to open fire on the woman, landing multiple shots into her head, tearing through the underlying armor.    While the Dalai cut into the crew, the team was able to drop the old woman with a few more shots to the head, and a well placed set of Riley's wolvers.   Outside of the back rooms and still standing in the main room, Doug called out to the team alerting them that the building was now on fire, and the flames were growing.   Inside the room, Bruce and another man rose from behind the table, Skiv indicating that he had contacted the Trauma Team and if the team wanted to survive, they should flee while they could. The team allowed Raela her moment of vengeance, and after breaking open her cybernetic hand to acquire the poison stored within, she injected Skiv leaving him to convulse on the floor of the club.   Bes Isis identified the man as David Leng Po the leader of the Chinese Mafia. After a few threats, David advised the team that killing him would not be a smart decision. He tossed Jackie his watch, and informed them that all he knew was on the terminal he brought in his suitcase and that they will get nothing else out of him at this time.   Escaping the bar the team grabbed the corpse of the Dalai Lama, and the brief case terminal. Once back at the Rusty Tumblers hideout, the crew checked the body of the Dalai and the terminal for GPS devices. The body had none, the terminal had an identifier connected to the net device which Gene was able to disable.   On the terminal was a wide assortment of Skiv Construction documents..
