Session 8: Preparing for the Montakota Report

General Summary

Jackie and Riley talk with Xian of the shredders about getting Ricky's body returned to them. The shredders ask for the Atlus data chip in return.   Rogue leaves to deal with some personal business.   Kane is lost in his thoughts observing the machinations of the Judith.   Alix and the Admiral ask to speak to the crew again regarding a restocking mission to another downed USSF Spaceship, the USS Montakota.   The crew discusses money distribution, and payment for the next job. After learning the location data of the crashed ship, the Montakota, was provided by the Neon Witch and the Minerva Collective, the team listens to the mission plan.   When asked about why the team was needed, Alix noted that the crews resources are currently thin do to losing a team finding Crosswire, as well as their other endeavors including the Crater project.   The Montakota crashed landed during the 2nd Corporate War during the short live fire conflict known as the 12 Hours war while it was running a strike mission. Captain Ron gives them a run down of the mission. The team needs to disable the air defense systems, which can only be done on site. Once down, and the location is secure, the Judith will send in a transport to help load the needed supplies.   The Minerva Collective wants the captains log for their library.   Jackie rides off to the Nomad Market to speak with the Blood Nation to inform them that they will be moving about in their territory. There he meets with HH Samuels, the ambassador of the Blood Nation. After paying Samuels in both money, and by insulting a young man from the Folk Nation, Jackie and the Storm Riders are given permission to enter the space. There he prevents the Raffen Shiv from approaching the landing zone of the others.
