The Backstory of Mhurren: Session 2 Report

General Summary

A group of D'jo rangers discovered Mhurren in the debris from the avalanche, frost bitten and on death's door. They bring him to the Sacred Grove, a settlement of D'jo druids in the Sacred Forest of Taelsti. Kar, the nominal leader of these Druids, takes care of Mhurren for 3 days. On the fourth day, Mhurren regains consciousness. Kar explains to him that he was almost dead and discovered by their rangers. Mhurren accidentally summons Garren, shocking Kar, who only becomes more curious about this new arrival. Before she is able to ask any questions, Restan and Diala arrive with more remedies and food for Mhurren. Kar excuses herself to speak with the two of them after they deliver the supplies, but not before encouraging Mhurren and Garren to explore the (close proximity of) the grove. She suggests Mhurren might seek out Su'Cho the Elder, an expert in lore and history for the circle. Garren is dismissed (accidentally) by Mhurren, who then awkwardly makes his way through the 10 huts of the D'jo. Some of the Druids are colder towards him than others, with only Su'Cho the Elder showing a warm welcome. Restan, the best friend of Kar, is neutral towards Mhurren, but Gw'nette & Diala are the most skeptical. After delivering Restan hide for his new chestpelt, Mhurren makes eye contact with a curious Sanstra, who is the youngest of the Circle and curious about him, but doesn't want to contradict her partner Gw'nette. He then finally find Su'Cho the Elder, stocking firewood for the Circle's communal fire in the Council House. Boisterous in his advanced age (the Orc is over 90 years old, shocking for Mhurren), Su'Cho excitedly requests to examine the amulet.   TBA:
