Session 2: The Mystery of the Clay Fragment Report

General Summary

-Anthousa asked you to investigate how the nekroti infection entered the grove of heroes   -Two caryatids were deemed to be infected and were burned along with the grove.   -Stopped by Linkela's pottery shop after seeing her surrounded by broken pottery and having a hard time spinning new pots.   -Said she is struggling to make new pots, something in the clay or the water is causing the pots to become unstable.   -After being asked about the clay piece, she examined it and admitted to making it for Hermynia to store a Nekroti sample.   -Took a shortcut across the Nestos River to get to Hermynia's shop.   -She was making a sleeping elixir for a patient suffering from night terrors.   -Hermynia was initially guarded about her Nekroti sample, but after mentioning Anthousa, she admits that she had a sample and goes to show you, but the sample is missing.   -She says the only other person who would have had knowledge of the sample is her apprentice, Doreios.   -She says Doreios was acting weird the last few days, making silly mistakes, showing up exhausted like he hasn't slept. He was jittery that morning and went to the Summer Nexus to relax.   -You showed up at the Summer Nexus, finding it empty except for the lad Doreios who was crying and hysterical. He was covered in scratch marks, his eyes bloodshot and swollen, looking haggard.   -He thinks he's infected but there's no evidence that he is. He asks you to kill him.   -You asked him what happened, he said he was supposed to go on his peregrination but he didn't want to, so he went to the winter nexus and then   -Suddenly two demons show up, swooping down towards the boy. Combat ensues.
