Adventures begin as you leave the gates of the remote town of Reservoir, venturing into the wastelands beyond. The continent has been mostly free of monsters for a thousand years or more, after a powerful barrier was created to restrict travel between planes. In recent months however there have been reports of significant monstrous activity in the North-East. The leaders of the various peoples have funded the creation of an independent “adventurer’s guild” type of organisation to respond to the issue, headquartered in Reservoir.
