Session 3: A Missing Daughter Report
General Summary
Noticeably cold, overcast. Gwen appears for breakfast first, then Theia, Jakuki, Ceonwulf, Roderick and then Ongar. We eat breakfast, bacon, eggs and bread for most, bread and fruit for Gwen. We discuss the quest offered the night before and our concerns. Captain Reseigh arrives, shakes off the frost, joins us for breakfast and once done offers each person 2GP for talking to Thomas Edemah. He then gives directions to Edemah's place and Eastwatch Garrison, then is on his way. Arrive at Edemah's house, a three storey house at odds with the surroundings. Seen into a reception room where Thomas greets us, eventually. After loosely describing his daughter and rejecting any notions of impropriety, he demands her return, discreetly, for 50GP + 10-20GP for the head of the bastard who kidnapped her, goblin or otherwise. His theory is she went to the market, got snatched by goblins and they're holding her somewhere. Roderick refuses to provide his name and leaves, souring the negotiation somewhat. Ivory Edemah; described as having a green dress, red cloak, coppery hair, usually in a bun. Coming back from the marketplace when the goblin raid occurred. When the conversation went on to the Tumbledowns, a few of the group catch some distaste, more than just rich vs poor. Ratty, an urchin child of about 9 years old in the market gets given a loaf of bread by Ceonwulf, then Gwen shows a silver and gets pointed at a stallholder called Kasia. Jakuki likewise speaks to a woman who hands him a drink of shig, thanks him for helping in the Tumbledowns and mentions where Kasia lives to the pair of them as Gwen wanders over. The group gathers, compares notes and decides to proceed to Kasia's place to find the missing shopkeep as a thread for Ivory.
