Session IX : Enter the Void Report

General Summary

Waking up to complete darkness, the party is disoriented, Until Celdrik comes to and lights up the area with magic.  After a quick meal and packing the party finds that some of their items have gone missing.  Seaching about, they find traces of someone or something had come thru during the night and rifled thru their packs, and were off on the trail.   Leading them on the tracks found themselves to a pair of unlikely beings, Luka Tiel a human with a knack for arcane and the blade and "Grubin" a gnome(?) acquantiance of Lukas who had been the one to take the items in question.  During the conversation to get the stolen items returned, an Umber Hulk attacked.  Hoping for an easy meal but soon was quickly dispatched and most parts of it were taken by Grubin to trade at "safety".   Joining forces, as safety in numbers, the group made their way thru the darkness.  Eventually coming to what looked like  small section of a city street had been cut out and placed here.  Cobbled streets and semi intact buildings, the main attraction being The Forked Axe, an tavern and inn for travelers...once.  Now nothing more than a safe haven for those who were lost in the Void.   Grubin traded the Umber Hulk parts to Moo the Minotaur tradesmen that lived in the Axe, the party did some trading as well as he had a variety of odd objects and trinkets.  The owner Baldack Grunt, human male, offerend what little booze he had to Luka and the party for some traded goods and scavaneged items from outside "Safety", and lets the party stay in what little room there is upstais.
