SW Session 3: I Spider With My Little Spider Something Beginning With Spy.

General Summary

The Shadow team continue their journey through the caverns below Adal. After advice from Selron, Bhul thinks better than to attack the Grey Slime and decides to have another torch throwing contest with the party. Ted Burnstien abstanes but the others give it ago, Leone Laponis drops his torch and burns the slime 'accidently'.
In the next portion of the cave they come across a spiders lair. Ted turns into a spider to investigate whilst Bhul wades through the webbing. Predictably a giant spider emmerges and attacks the group. Bhul roars into a rage but fails to make any impact. Long came into battle along with Brokk Stonefist and between the four of them (three, as Bhul just hurt himself) they dispatched the creature. Like the rust monster before it, it dissapated into a red mist.
They then came across a swriling underground pool. Small urns floated around the pool and the part gather them all up. The precious urns were labbeled with the following names:   -Leaf Juniper  -Filch  -Strivus Darkbane -Brother Moon -Duke Brutus -Duke Leonidus   Upon further investgation they found some other items within the area including a picture that Brokk recognised as being Be-El an interesting individual from his past.
The party then tried desperately to get into a magic chest. Fail after fail they were left with no choice. Bhul smashed his arm into the chest and pulled out an Orb of Scrying. AFter figuring out what the orb did they wanted to find Be-El. They discovered him hanging over the body of Duke Leonidus, the Duke of Cogath. He etched a massive A into the chest and said 'Here is another husk for you sister'.
Now with the soul of Darkbane within their grasps they headed back to the surface where Orin the Bardic Maestro told them that Darkbane's prison only appeares once per week. Ted descided to use this time to read 'The Darkbane Family Tree' but couldnt comprehend the language within. Orin suggested that Duke Brutus might be able to read it.
