SW Session 35: Stronger Than You… Weaker Than Me… But I Never Wanted to be Stronger Than Family.
General Summary
The Shadow Team reach the end of their second day in the Auvor Thull on their mission to Auvor Thull Labyrinth. The sun was setting and the party was in need of rest. Though together they were experiencing the aftermath of Leone Laponis' and Bhul's fight over Bhul's killing of Urk The Dessert Fox.
The party stood on the sandcrawler conflicted, there was a storm brewing. They all agreed to rest at the Jawut camp. Bhul arrived first and sat down calmly awaiting the Jawut trial that Long had told them about. Brokk Stonefist got drunk with a camel masked Jawut and Ted Burnstien helped Long with his ghost problem. Discovering that the ghost's mind was full of a thousand screams and a desperation for a vessal they contiuned into camp.
The party were helpful and kind to the Jawuts in hope that the trial of Bhul would be swerved. However, Bhul was determined to go alone despite the others wanting to travel across the sand river with him.
The party were invited to the banks of the sand river. The midnight moon glowing with green souls returning to the scorched city. And they waited for Bhul to reach the other side of the river.
Bhul stepped into the sands and faced his final trial,
Inches turned to feet, meters felt like miles.
A small light above his head a beacon for his friends,
Hoping at the other bank his torment will end.
Head full of voices, body wracked with pain,
Misstrusted, missunderstood, missguided again, again, again.
A monster from the deep, fists of molten flame,
Pounded the orc into the sands, the wieght like his shame.
His body gone, his friends had lost their smiles,
For Bhul stepped into the sands and faced his final trial.
Grazwatch remained though and was bought back to the party but they realised they couldnt touch the weapon or be struck with pain. Brokk with desires to find the stashed drink stumbled into the wrong tent. It was a Jawut tent full of metal and brass masks hanging from the canvas.
