Ruin / The Rescue Part 1 Played 2/23/22
General Summary
- After introducing ourselves we got right down to it.
- Runners found each player in town and told them to come to the guild for an emergency
- Another group of adventurers were missing, their path had been searched with no clues
- Now everyone e was given a direction to look for them
- Our group was given a path to the NW and began searching leaving town around 8-m
- They found a piece of scarlet silk cloth caught on a tree
- After searching they found a single foot print
- Next a “tourist” dagger stuck into a tree as if thrown there (Fancy dagger glamoured to look as if it has real gemstones)
- Next signs of a struggle (about 5 ft from tree)
- Rhys talked to an owl and was told person and goblin fought and goblin won
- Found drag marks first than “struggle drag” marks on the ground
- Had an encounter with a Jaguar, who ran away after Jinx jumped into the tree (almost -- caught branch w/hands)
- Searched for a couple of hours more until around 10:30 or 11 pm and heard “party” drums in the near distance
- Found goblin century before it could attach
- Fairy fired goblin century 2 others
- Fight ensued and as it was getting late IRL was run quickly against 5 goblins
- Savane hit first then Rhys finished it off
- Rabbit was hit (for3 damage) and poisoned, the wound felt warm
- Davin (sp?) took out another goblin in 1 hit and the rest fled THOUGH
- Rhys cast rangers mark on one of the escaping ones
- When the game picks up it is assumed that the group will follow the marked goblin and until discovered Rabbit will become sicker.
