The Arena Battle Goes On 5/16/2023 Report

General Summary

Rocks were piled in the arena in various areas and the Korred and troll both used them.
The first fight consisted of a korred, spectator, and T-rex. The fight was paused for a few moments when an Unseelie Lord (presumably) cast a spell that killed the korred before our heroes could finish it off.  The fight was "paused" as the Lord (and the upset crowd) was dealt with.  The assumption made was that the Lord had made poor betting choices.
Right after the first group of monsters was dispatched the gates opened again and out rushed a giant croc. a hydra, a troll. & a werewolf.  In the middle of this fight someone "froze" all on the arena floor and sent a flying pet down to Kai with a flower bouquet and a key (attached), then dropped the spell so that the battle could continue.  Kai accepted the bouquet and carefully placed it on the T-rex corpse, then went back into the frey.
After both contests ended and everyone else were lead under the arena for another short rest Kai was lead to a row of rooms in a different area under the arena where he met his Lady.  He entertained her for the hour, so no short rest, but he did get some stamina food and found out that it was her family's reaver that struck the killing blow on Emperor T'Ryndiel L'Sheriss at Wildwood Gate.
