Still More in the Arena and a New Friend 5/23/2023 Report

General Summary

As our heroes stepped out onto the sand they were joined by a sixth individual without explanation. The gladiator was in full plate male but seemingly unarmed. Before there could be introductions the group of foes stepped onto the field. Our group faced an animated boulder, a dire owlbear, and a fomorian giant this time. There was a battle and a half (the session had to end before the 2nd fight was finished - it's recorded in the next, June 6, session.) During the fight, Iosefka noticed our new hero making a misty step, but the cloud of mist was black-tinged, not white. All of the others were too engaged with opponents at the time to notice.
