(A1:S9): "The Wanderer wanders..."

General Summary

The party awakes to find The Wanderer gone, his sleeping bag neatly opened with no sign of a struggle. The party members who partook in watches are equally as confused as he seemed to vanish into thin air. Seeing no sign of footprints, the party decides to hit the road, hoping to find The Wanderer on the way out of the forest.   Travelling down the road, the party stumbles upon a slave caravan consisting of two hobgoblins and about ten kobolds. The slaves are shackled to the cart, and to Morthrag's surprise he recognizes two of the half orc slaves as surviving members of his tribe. Understanding that the time for negotiations is past, the party enters into combat and soon notices that there is another familiar slave chained to the cart: The Wanderer. Zinjor, suffering from a bout of dreams about his past and kindling his inner anger for the Ruskan Empire, decides to cast his fireball just shy of The Wanderer. Unfortunately, the explosion damages The Wanderer, causing the Hag who was disguised to lose concentration on the facade. She screeches out in pain, and lunges to attack the closest target, which happens to be a kobold.   Sav'll, failing his con save, goes down unconscious from the Hags death glare. As the rest of the party scramble to realize what is happening, the Hobgoblin slavers and kobolds are either cut down by the Hag or have run away. Morthrag, Rolsus, and Aeos attack in melee, dealing a good amount of damage to the hag but not killing it. As she reels back to swipe again, Zinjor casts another fireball through the crystal, taking most of the damage onto himself instead of dealing full damage to his friends. This blast deals little damage to the allied party members, but kills the hag and knocks Zinjor unconscious.   With the party badly damaged, confused as to whether The Wanderer was always a Hag, and very suspicious of their wizard companion, they do not know what is next for them, especially since they heard two more screeches in response to the hag dying.
