Session 29: Preparing an Ambush Report
General Summary
This is the session where they launched the ambush of the Freedom Fighters, killing them before they even got a turn. Discovered Remaining Items From the Sheriff's Office Dragon’s Breath Rounds These Add no Damage Bonus (+0) but turn the damage into aggravated versus vampires and set what they hit on fire. (Which deals 1 point of aggravated damage per turn until it is put out.) The effective range is no more than 50ft. Molotov Cocktails Difficulty 4 required to strike a target and causes 2 levels of Aggravated damage every turn. Composure + Survival roll (Difficulty 3) action is usually enough to remove enough of the material to stop the burn. Raufoss Rounds These have excellent range and armor piercing capability, and usually come in calibers (12.7mm) that make any target have a really bad day. Raufoss ignores any body armor, causing +5 damage, all of it Aggravated. Kevlar Vests Kevlar vests, flak jackets or similar body armor provide substantial protection (Armor Value 4) but comes at the cost of flexibility and speed (-1 die on Dexterity tests). Kevlar also happens to be flame-resistant (provides Armor Value 1 against fire). Riot Shields Armor Value of 3 Tactical SWAT/Military Armor Armor Value 6 and -1 on Dexterity Tests. From
