Session 20 Report

General Summary

Saoirse: • Change Face by Quinton ○ Then go to her Ex to work on rebuilding her Humanity. • Went to the NA Meeting and sat next to Riley and talked to him. ○ Was reminded that she left because it was the right thing to do. • Spoke up in the meeting. ○ Missing something and fighting another loss.   Jax: • First Tremere "Stole" the curse in aims to become immortal by capturing a Kindred and used a ritual to become Kindred. • They kept some connection to the mortal world. • Explained the establishment of the Pyramid. Jax was given one of the Revenants to help with his rituals.     Political Choices: • Had no problem executing the Tremere Neonate as the Neonate broke the rules. Also stated that once someone becomes a Kindred they are no longer a "youth", they become "something else". • Chose to allow the Nosferatu to live in exchange for information from their clan as payment for retribution for their trespass. § Did not interrogate or ask for a life boon. They took the Nosferatu away and moved on to the next phase.     • Wants to master another path of Sorcery within 10 years furthering his own status and that of the clan. • Increase the potency and power of his blood. As this is part of him focusing on improving specific aspects of himself. • Reiterated his achievements and his ability to master Levinbolt in such a short time.     • Believes the Tremere of CC are working towards unifying the Camarilla of CC because it benefits the clan. • Noticed the Prince didn’t really want this as the ambition but accepted it.   Player Theories: • The mission to investigate the Banu Haqim might be a way that the Coterie will be framing them for Dr. Crucio. • The Coterie might be screwing with the Sheriff's life or blackmailing him as part of the mission to get some of his blood.  

Phase One: Demonstrate Mastery of Blood Sorcery 1. Must demonstrate his ability to use the basic powers of Path of Movement of the Mind. • Must use this Path to move some objects. 2. Must demonstrate his ability to use the basic powers of Path of Blood. • A Taste For Blood: Will be given a few sample of blood without being told the source and he must accurately state all he can from this power. • Extinguish Vitae: He will need to use this ability on an unexpecting Initiate that is working in the practice room, without the Initiate figuring out he is doing it. 3. Must show his Mastery over his 5 powers from Path of the Levinbolt. • Frictionless Mobility: Evade being restrained by the group of Tremere Brutes. • Electroception: Determine what is being discussed in a meeting of Mortals. (The Mortals are a group of Influences belonging to another Kindred.). • Power Array: Replace This Power with Updated Option. • Zeus’ Fury: Blow something up. • Redirect the Lightning: Gather power from thin air and blow something up.   Phase Two: Demonstrate Knowledge 1. Tremere History: • How they became Kindred. • What was/is the Pyramid? • What happened to the Pyramid and what is happening now? 2. Tremere Organization/Hierarchy: • What are the major Tremere Ranks? 3. Tremere Code: • What is the Tremere Code?   4. Tremere Secrets • Why are the Tremere so secretive? • How should you act when in the presence of outsiders? • How do we treat Blood Sorcery?   Phase Three: Ambitions and Dedication 1. Explain his Ambitions, and what he has done to work towards them. 2. Explain what the Ambitions are of Clan Tremere in Crescent City? And how has he worked toward furthering them?     Phase Four: Leadership and Politics 1. Jax is presented with a Tremere Neonate Adept (Apprentice of the Fourth Circle) who was caught violating laws of the Pyramid on multiple occasions. • He caused a breach of the Masquerade via a blatant use of Blood Sorcery which was witnessed by Mortals. • He was also caught teaching the secrets of Blood Sorcery and Rituals to Kindred outside of Clan Tremere. Jax will be directed to determine a suitable punishment and oversee it. 2. A Neonate Nosferatu was caught attempting to sneak/force their way into the Chantry. What should be done with this Neonate? And what should be said to or done with Clan Nosferatu?         Special Notes: 1. Scry the Soul will be used on Jax which will reveal his Diablerie. Jax will need to navigate this situation in a politically sound way.
