Session 10: Consequences Report

General Summary

Opening Scene: Jax and Quinton just finished Diablerizing D. Crucio, then looked to the cracked door where a group of kids could be heard yelling for help. Saoirse ran to the Security System to knock it out to prevent it catching the Diablerie. Douglas returned to the corpse to try and regain the sense of completeness he was nearly enveloped in while the Sheriff continued prepping to clean up the scene. The Coterie found the Kids in the Cells. Quinton had them start singing, hoping that it would help calm them down while Tala used Fata Morgana to help calm the Kids and her Coterie down. The Kids began singing Gam Gam which caused the effects of minor true faith. The Sheriff called the Prince to decide what to do about the kids, but she was heading into a meeting with the Archons, so she sent the Baron to make a decision. The Coterie presented the plan to change the Werewolf memories so that they believe the 2nd Inquisition had caught them and responsible for their torture. The Baron really liked this plan more than letting the Tremere take all of the Kids and making them disappear, so agreed to go along with it. But he had some additions to make. The Baron said they would take care of transferring the kids to a Tremere Black Site where the memories would be adjusted and then Quinton's Bois would be called in to lead an "investigation" into the SI black site outside the city where the Ghouls are being held. Backgrounds Used: Media and Police Influence: Cover up what the explosions were from the breaching of Crucio's Lab, explaining that there was a Police presence at the lab because there was a bomb threat, which a suspicious object was found, and a controlled detonation was performed. But they found out that it wasn’t a bomb, so no further investigation required. Reconvene at the Haven Scene: The Coterie returned to their Haven and discussed everything that had happened, and what they plan to do moving forward. 1. Concerns of Willow a. They are concerned that Willow is going to be watching them closely now, so they are wondering what he is up to due to these recent events. b. Plan to bring up questions regarding if Willow can lead the SI investigation since his Coterie has been killed to be able to take the lead of the investigation again. c. Briefly mentioned taking over the Silent Wrath’s Domain. d. Tala will be working on learning more about Willow and what he is up to during the time jump.   2. Party Time at Saoirse’s Club a. Considering throwing a Masquerade Party to celebrate Crucio's death, under the guise of celebrating the prevention of a Werewolf war. b. Will take the opportunity to listen to the gossip and such of the Kindred, to get an idea of what they think of how the situation unfolded so that Quinton's Bois can get ahead of anything. Consequences During the Time Jump: During the Time Jump, the Coterie learns of the following items. 1. Coterie: a. The tension between the Police and the Protestors in the Cultural District have been escalating and have resulted in various spurts of violence from both sides. b. The Freedom Fighters will have secured enough influence and strength within Sunrise Point to officially be able to claim it as their territory. i. (This is a consequence since the Coterie didn't do much to resist or fight against them either physically of via influences or such.) 2. Douglas: a. There are rumors flying around Elysium about the Toreador planning a Halloween/Festive Ball/Gala. b. Douglas is being pressured to display a true masterpiece at the event and will be expected to assist them in the leg work of getting the event organized and running. c. Uno Gablavian the Art Collector is being intensely pressured by a couple of different high society art connoisseurs trying to urge him to sell some of the recent art pieces he acquired, and the pressure is getting intense. 3. Jax: a. Jax will be informed he will be undergoing the trials of apprenticeship so that he may be promoted up to the 6th or 7th Circles depending on how he performs. The trials will be overseen by Magister Justice Harland to avoid issues with Jax's Sire overseeing the trials. 4. Quinton: a. Hound Persephone will approach him with information about Dr Quinn trying to get interviewed by the media regarding an abnormal increase in patients with increased symptoms of a Kindred having fed 3+ Dots from a Mortal. 5. Saoirse: a. Bernice Steven's Pirate Radio has been shut down due to Bernice being arrested for helping to incite a Riot during the Cemetery Protests. She learned this from her Street Contacts that saw him get arrested and were nosy about it. 6. Tala: a. The larger media outlets are running news attacking the minor outlets for spreading rumors and getting people worked up over nothing. b. She will hear rumors (As will Saoirse) about dropping numbers of Thin Bloods and that Hope Voss is the most concerned about this.   Time Jump And Their Goals: The Session closed with a multiple weeklong time jump, which the Coterie has time to take care of various downtime/background actions. 1. Humanity: a. Quinton is visiting with Penny the Volunteer and Princess the Bear to work on recovering some of their lost Humanity. b. Jax plans on secretly interacting/visiting his Daughter Cassandra to work on recovering some of their lost Humanity. c. Saoirse plans on helping Beatrice with a GoFundMe to work on recovering some of their lost Humanity. 2. Influence Uses: a. Quinton’s Media Influence - describing a new drug where people are bleeding themselves out to make the drug more effective, or it a blood thinning drug. Or that it is causing hallucinations causing people to harm themselves leading to they are low on blood.
