Session 10

The party showed up to Preezle, Violet home town. They were met with Erina, a small hedgehog looking race, they have taken over this town since the disaster. Violet didn't ask too much of what happened but the leader of this troop recognized her, his father knew her father and were clan considered them family. They offered her and the group to stay within camp and offered vegetables for nourishment, they mostly live underground but have been tending to some small gardens on the surface.

  The team stayed in whats left of Violets old home, as they rummaged through the remains,she remember something hidden in the fireplace and since it was made of stone it was still standing, barely. There is a small compartment with a box inside, she remember her parents telling her that the device was trapped and you only have a few chances before its locked forever, so she decided to put the small box away for later. The team attempted to look into the basement but only her and Fuad could actually fit down there, everything is gnome size and Faud can make himself smaller if needed. They didn't find anything worthwhile down there it was covered in debris and dirt. They all decided to make camp for the night.

  The next morning the team thanked the Erina for their hospitality and went on there way west. They had an uneventful day of traveling and decided to make camp for the night. Just as the party made camp a kid stumbled up to the campsite, covered in blood, he said "Please help my daddy. This big insect creature took him and carried him off down a hole in the ground. Will you help?". Click was suspicious but the rest of the team wanted to help.

  The team arrived at the whole and headed down to investigate, it was dark and Zorkxire took the lead. He managed to get into what he thought was the middle of a large room and was attacked from underneath by an ankeg. The rest of the team came in to help but Zorkxire took two acid blasts to the face and was knocked unconscious. The team took down the one ankeg and there was another in the back of the chamber slowly dissolving a humanoid figure with its acid, probably the boys dad.

  After the second one was dispatched, the team tried to find some relic to take back to the boy, Click found a leather chain that is barley holding together from the acid but they will use that to identify the person now wanting to show the kid whats left of his dad. As the team turned to leave the little boy was there asking if they found and saved his dad. They showed him the leather band and the kid saw this and the body on the ground. He shrugged his shoulders and said "He was no funny anyway, I want to play with you guys now!" Then he transformed into a large human shaped mass, he was a doppelganger. Click said he knew we shouldn't have trusted that kid, it was a a ruff battle but they won this as well. They had to drag Zorkxire out of the hole afterward he was stabilized but still unconscious.
