Session 24

General Summary

As the team moves closer to the campsite they are ambushed by a small scouting team and a battle breaks out. Some of the scout part was easily taken care of but the captain was harder but he got cornered in a grouping of trees and fought to the end. There was only one survivor, he was knocked out and questioned. His name is El Espador, he explained that his family has been threatened and that if he didn't join the Order that they would take it out on his family and leave him as the lone survivor.   El offers to help them get into the camp, he knows a few of them that are in similar situations, but he will need help rescuing his family from the Order. The team agrees to help El as well as accept his help to infiltrate the camp. With Nudge in disguise alongside El, the two head into the camp to see if they can get some recruits to help. They talk to Kashagi and Lanzlo who explain that they will help but will also need help in return. Kashigi explains he gave up his freedom to save his town and temple from ruin and Lanzlo has some personal demons to contend with, Nudge speaks for the team and offers to help them both. Kashigi explains that he can get the troops ready and everything will go down at dinner time when the shift usually changes is a good time to strike.   The team moves up on the camp waiting for the right time, a team member casts a rope trick spell and Violet climbs up and hides in the interdementiall space waiting for her que. As the guards start to change shifts a fight breaks out amongst the guards, that’s the team's signal to head in and confront Kalucus in his tent. The team approaches the larger tent and proceeds to take out Kalucus guards, while at the same time Violet unleashes a demon on the Paxius guards from her safe little space in the air. The team takes down the private Kalucus guards and Zorkxire does the final blow and knocks him unconscious. He is searched and the team finds a bag of holding with the last piece of the artifact contained within.
